Humanitarian Crisis Resurges on Zolan

Dozens of injured citizens have been evacuated by a humanitarian Alliance convoy after it was granted permission to enter the Zolan besieged city of Bun-dar'de in northeastern sector of the planet of Zolan, communication from the Clawdite Security Force and Galactic Alliance media office said this afternoon.

The Zolander population that controls most of the town granted permission to a humanitarian convoy consisting of Galactic Alliance Medical Response, The Hapan Humane League, and other response crews after being prevented by Zolander resitance since last week, reports said.

A Duros humanitarian, Vii'rec Chese, with the Free Galaxy Rangers, speaking with HoloNet agents on-site on Zolan said they were also allowed to enter the city and were able to evacuate thirty-one injured Clawdites.

Galactic Alliance Department of Security announced earlier this week that Chief of State Galak and Clawdite Chieftain Erdogan Wex had brokered a cease-fire between growing resistance of Clawdites and Zolander forces. GA officers report that this is a symptom of the growing tension along the Corellian Run between Imperial and Alliance forces, polarizing many planets in the sector.

However, the Clawdite Council of Unity accused Mabari warriors from the Zolander population of continuing to violate the GA-brokered ceasefire and urged the Alliance leadership to force the creation of a humanitarian corridor, according to a statement released by GA last night.

It was unclear whose battlefield actions were behind this assessment but both the Clawdites and the Zolander-backed forces have accused each other of violations.

The nearby Falleen government has insisted that the agreement is not a ceasefire, but only a "pause" on operations in the region, which has only brought more warship activity from major factions in their sector.

Speaking at a news conference earlier today, Clawdite Chieftain Erdogan Wex said Clawdite's offensive would resume if the GA does not deliver on their guarantee to get Zolander fighters out of the safe zone area.

"If the Alliance can keep its promise at the end of the ceasefire, the issue of a safe zone will be resolved," Erdogan said. "But if this promise is not fulfilled, we will continue with the operation with greater resolve than where we left off, the minute after the deal has ended"

Stay tuned in as this story develops.
